Today I spent the morning with a new friend: Pecan Pie granola made lovingly by Eat Clean Granola. With a considerable lack of gluten-free, refined sugar-free granola on supermarket shelves, Katrina Hopewell took breakfast into her own hands and created a range of super sweet Instagrammable granolas in reusable glass jars.
The clean eating debate is nothing new to the foodie world – neither is eating dessert for breakfast (let’s hear it for ice-cream bowls and sticky sweet banana bread) but I have a feeling that granola is about to become the overnight oats of 2016 and I’m pretty confident about Eat Clean Granola’s place in the market. The range consists of three flavours: Cacao Crunch, Aromatic Almond and Pecan Pie and the jars retail at £4.90. Despite a short interruption to take these photographs, my morning was a total dreamboat. I’m going to dedicate more morning-time like this to writing my novel and stop procrastinating like a sloth with commitment issues. By this time next year I will have a manuscript. Breakfast –check. Coffee –check. Book – check. Photogenic Tassle Blanket From a Street Market in Turkey – check. Best-Selling Novel – no check. However, I plan on addressing that at my earliest convenience.
If you want to try a jar of this granola for yourself, I’m giving one away amongst some other amazing products in a mahoosive wellness bundle over on Twitter very soon! You can follow me here to keep an eye out for that!
Have you tried Eat Clean Granola? Do you make your own granola? Do you find it difficult finding cereals that are gluten-free and still healthy? Leave me a comment if you want to make my day.
